Project Equipment Manager

As a Project Equipment Manager, you will oversee all activities in the purchase, rental, inventory, negotiation, maintenance, dispatch, and billing of the project(s)'s equipment fleet and materials.
Sourcing all services, materials, maintenance providers and heavy equipment
Oversee and supervise Heavy Equipment Mechanic staff
Negotiation of contracts, purchase agreements and maintenance service
Manage and implement all heavy equipment functions for the assigned project(s) including maintenance and repair scheduling, equipment delivery, etc.
Arrange for minor repairs and transportation of equipment to and from the jobsite(s) as necessary
Analyze equipment needs and determine and recommend equipment repair expenditures
Establishing short and long term agreements when necessary to lock in pricing and services for an agreed duration
Responsible for setting up new accounts and reviewing credit terms
Monitor company policies for equipment use
Ensure that equipment costs are billed to the project correctly
Assist in the development of yard and equipment inventory procedures and reports
Monitor project budget as it relates to equipment
Oversee Supplier warranty claims submission and payment
Responsible for overseeing daily equipment time entry and associated billing
Responsible for preparing monthly revenue and accounts payable batching to the accounting department for processing
Prepare billing for all materials sold or transferred from the yard
Assist in the maintenance and preparation of monthly yard accounts
Maintains knowledge of Flatiron's company values and strategic plan
Support published corporate policies
Perform additional assignments per management's direction
High School Diploma or GED and 5 years Heavy Equipment Management experience and/or training
Account management and business operating experience
Mechanical maintenance & repairs experience
Equipment Management Specialists (EMS)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
