Sr. Quality Manager

As a Sr. Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the quality of the construction elements of a project and advises regarding the effectiveness of the process quality control performed to ensure design and construction elements are in compliance with contract specifications on large projects.

Responsibilities
  • This position requires specialized skills and knowledge to handle the challenges and complexities of the project quality activities.
  • With authoritative decision-making this role s recommendations have a significant impact on regional and offices quality policies and programs. This role may supervise the work of assigned quality personnel.
  • Implement and supervise technical quality (i. e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), perform administrative functions (i. e., budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and help to maintain harmonious client relations
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of business line personnel
  • Serve as project Quality Manager on medium to large projects, if necessary
  • Serve as the office Quality Manager, if necessary
  • Facilitate the implementation of the Operating System Requirements (OSR) in offices for which responsibility is allocated
  • Maintain relationships with key internal and external Clients and external Quality community
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ten (10) years of quality management experience on rail, transit or other design-build projects and have undertaken training in the use and application of quality programs including the application of ISO 9001
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
